initial designs for pieces in a foldformed chess set
For the past few days we’ve been working on a chess set in foldformed copper. We’ve been thinking about chess sets for awhile, but last week I came up with a pawn for a relatively simple set and Reed has been developing some pieces for the back ranks. I think it’s getting pretty interesting even though it’s still in development.
after 5 passes and about a half hour of hammering total the face looks like this
