After coming back from Christmas vacation I wanted to get a wallpiece made – even a simple one – so that 2015 would not be entirely wallpieceless. Here’s the result: wallpiece RCB 15.01, which will be up on the main site soon. It is experimental: I normally use heavy, soft brass for pieces that are shaped and assembled in this manner, but this time, partly because we have a lot around, I used thinner copper. It resulted in a much higher relief piece than I was originally intending, but it works well.
