From Friday December 1 through Sunday December 3rd, 2006, we will be holding our first Open Studio in more than ten years. Come see our small, but newly refurbished display area, and see how we work. The studio will be open from 11am to 5pm.

Our studio is located in west Berkeley at 729 Heinz Ave #3, in the Berkeley Art Complex, home to Artworks Foundry and Magic Gardens Nursery. We are just down the street from the Scharffen Berger Chocolate Factory, and a few blocks from the ActivSpace studios and the Sawtooth building, where there are many Berkeley Artisans Open Studios going on during the weekend.

Directions:

Make your way to Interstate 80 in Berkeley, and get off at the Ashby exit (the southernmost exit in Berkeley).

At the first light, turn left onto Seventh Street.

At the second light on Seventh, turn left again onto Heinz Avenue (Scharffenberger Chocolate factory is on this corner). You will be heading west, towards the Bay.

Heinz dead-ends at the railroad tracks. Near the end of the street, on your right, look for 729 Heinz, the second-to-last driveway, which is flanked by two bronze mountain lions. Enter this driveway.

As you enter the driveway, our studio is in the building directly in front of you, on the left front corner of the building as you face it.

It may be necessary to park on the street, at least on Friday. Additional parking may be available on the weekend by driving past our door, to the left of the building.
