More than one person has commented that this wallpiece looks like a quilt. In fact, a quilt was a part of its inspiration, though only in general terms: a cloud of one color in a rectangular field of another. But the wallpiece has inspired one online friend to go further than just the comment, and create an actual textile work based on this design. I have the honor to present the result below: a beautiful quilt of hand dyed and rust painted silk, made by Char Moore.
